Slopped & Chewed is a play on words for the Chopped & Screwed genre created by the eponymous figure DJ Screw of Houston, TX. This genre had its biggest impact in the early/mid 90's. The TUAWKI studio set out to arrange, interpret, and transform known songs into a cascade of new age ambient bliss. From NBA Youngboys 'Nevada' or Jermih's "Oui" the album series delivers a kind of floral arrangement of a beautifully interpreted contemporary music.
