Language

Often at the TUAWKI studio we create environmental structure and intention before approaching the musical task. In this instance these three albums are connected by a thematic center: Aliens - we determined what our stages of discovery would be: making CONTACT, discovering WORLDS, and assimilating to LANGUAGE. After making the narrative decisions we assigned instruments: Flute [Contact], Harp [Worlds], and Voice [Language] then we musically executed against each chosen environment.

Language utilizes the vocal as an instrument - each track is given an astrological name to anchor each song to an individual expression. Our attempt is to represent dialogue with unknown beings, almost like listening to a lively conversation amongst angels at a dinner party.
